SUS444 (00Cr18Mo2) is a ferritic stainless steel with ultra-low carbon nitrogen, 18% chromium and 2% molybdenum, and high corrosion resistance. The biggest advantage of this steel is its excellent resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, and its resistance to chloride ion pitting corrosion is better than SUS304, which is equivalent to SUS316L.

This model can be used in water tanks (solar water tanks, special water tanks, domestic water tanks, etc.). This steel grade is particularly suitable for use in various water treatment devices.

1. Make sure that the material meets the standards when selecting steel pipes. Take 304 material as an example:

2. Observe whether the color of the outer surface and the inner wall of the tube is bright and smooth, whether the thickness is uniform or rough. Generally, welded pipes basically do not need to be inspected, and seamless steel pipes are produced by cold drawn or hot rolled methods. Improper operation in the production process is prone to uneven thickness and cracks on the pipe surface. Rough surface is generally seamless pipe. No polishing treatment, if there is no special requirement on the appearance, it will not affect the use.
