309s / 1.4833 Stainless Steel Strip Coil
1) 309S is a free-cutting stainless steel containing sulfur. It is used in occasions where free-cutting and high surface finish are mainly required.
2) 309s is a variant of 309 stainless steel with lower carbon content, which is used where welding is required. The lower carbon content minimizes the precipitation of carbides in the heat-affected zone near the weld, and the precipitation of carbides may cause stainless steel to produce intergranular corrosion (welding erosion) in certain environments.
3) It can withstand repeated heating below 980 ℃, and has high high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and carburization resistance.
4) Widely used in important fields such as boilers, energy (nuclear power, thermal power, fuel cells), industrial furnaces, incinerators, heating furnaces, chemicals, petrochemicals, etc.
