Ti60 high temperature titanium alloy released
The first industrial-grade ingot weighed 3 tons. This product fills the gap in the Group’s research and development and preparation of this alloy.
At present, the maximum operating temperature of traditional high-temperature titanium alloys is 600 degrees Celsius. The composition of Ti60 material is extremely complex, containing a variety of elements with high melting point, difficult to melt and easy to segregate, and it is very difficult to control vacuum smelting. In order to meet the development needs of high-end titanium materials, the special titanium materials team took Ti60 high-temperature titanium alloy as the focus of research and development, and carried out technical research. The Group’s first 3-ton heavy-duty industrial-grade Ti60 high-temperature titanium alloy ingot was successfully trial-produced.
The relevant person in charge said that the successful preparation of industrial-grade Ti60 high-temperature titanium alloy ingots has expanded the space for the development of high-end titanium materials of Ansteel Group. In the next step, the team will continue to intensify innovation and research, develop and manufacture more high-end titanium materials, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the group’s titanium alloy industry.
